Adaptive CanSkate 5+
CanSkate 5+ is Skate Canada’s Learn-to-Skate Program for children ages 5 - 17 yrs.
We believe all athletes of all abilities should have an equal opportunity to experience the joy of skating. Our adaptive program will help empower skaters with physical and cognitive disabilities or impairments to thrive in the ice. This program is tailored to those who are just learning to skate or who may have some skating background.
Participants earn badges/ribbons while focusing on three fundamental areas (Agility, Balance & Control) divided into six stages (music, warm-up, lessons, challenge exercises, fast track and cool-down) for an exciting and fun group program.
Skaters must be 5 years old by Apr 1st
A CSA-approved Hockey helmet is mandatory
No Bike or Ski helmets allowed

Please Note
$62 Skate Canada Fee will be added to all registrations
*Skate Canada Fee added to each registration once per skater per season. Insurance covers from Sept 1 - Aug 31.
