2019 – 2020 Skating Season

Although our season was cut short by 3 months we still had a fantastic year!  We are extremely proud of how much you have all grown and accomplished in such a short time.  We would like to take this opportunity to outline some of our accomplishments.

Our skaters attended competitions in Edmonton, St Albert, Whitecourt, and Sylvan Lake bringing home 20 medals in total: 7-1^st place, 9-2^nd place, 4-3^rd place, 6 silver assessments & 5 bronze assessments.  Wow…what a fantastic start to the season.  (Unfortunately the Starskate Championships and Sunsational competitions were cancelled for March & April.)

For the Star 1-5 Coach Assessments there were 48 passes, and the Star 6-Gold Evaluator Assessments had 42 passes.  That is a total of 90 Assessment Tests combined from Star 1 – Gold…fantastic job skaters, that is amazing!! 

Congratulations to the following skaters for completing their Gold tests this season.  It takes an unbelievable amount dedication, commitment, and time to master all the tests in each discipline.  These girls have achieved what every skater strives for…great job ladies!

Holly Pougnet – Triple Gold (Dance, Skills & Freeskate

Hannah Pecoskie – Double Gold (Dance & Skills)

Breanna Bray – Gold Skills
