Kathy Burzminski

32 Years of ExperienceQualifications: NCCP & & Skate Canada Provincial Certified (Level 2), & High 5 Certified. Kathy has coached skaters to gold achievement in all four disciplines of figure skating and has trained skaters who have qualified and competed at Sectionals, Winter Games, and placement in the Leading Edge Series. She competed nationally in pairs herself and has been a coach for the Alberta Junior Development Team with Pre-Novice skaters. Kathy is a mentor coach to Regional (Level 1 coaches).

Lisa Bakken
41 Years of ExperienceQualifications: NCCP & Skate Canada National Certified (Level 3) and partial Level 4 and CanPowerSkate. Lisa is a certified coach of national and recreational StarSkaters with choreography and ballet training.

Tanya Bray
26 Years of ExperienceQualifications: NCCP & Skate Canada Provincial Certified (Level 2), partial National Certification (Level 3) & High 5 Certified. Tanya has coached skaters to gold achievement in all four disciplines of figure skating and diamond level in dance (achieving their Quad Gold Award). Experienced in triathlon events. Trained skaters who have qualified and competed at Sectionals and Winter Games and won the StarSkate Championships. Tanya is a mentor coach to Regional (Level 1) coaches.

Jordi Cocks
8 Years of ExperienceQualifications: NCCP & Skate Canada Regional Certified (Level 1), Provincial Coach In-Training (Level 2), CanPowerSkate &High 5 Certified. Jordi is certified as a Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology Personal Trainer. She is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Youth Exercise Specialist, also has been doing Eskimo Fitness Testing for four years. She has studied sports performance, corrective exercise, nutrition, mental training, biomechanics, AFLCA group fitness and TRX suspension training.

Tara Parsons
26 Years of ExperienceQualifications: NCCP & Skate Canada Provincial Certified (Level 2), partial National Certification (Level 3) & CanPowerSkate (with hockey background). Tara has coached students to Gold achievement in all four disciplines of figure skating, Diamond level in dance, and has had students achieve Quad Gold Awards. Tara’s students have reached finals and have had podium finishes in many Regional and Provincial competitions. Experienced in triathlon events, theatre on ice, and ice show management, Tara is also a mentor coach to Regional (Level 1 coaches).
